Questions
Is the Facebook video downloader free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no daily limit and no watermark.
Where do downloaded videos go?
To your browser’s Downloads folder. On iPhone open the Files app → Downloads; on Android open Files or Gallery → Download.
Why does the video open in a new tab instead of saving?
Some browsers play large videos instead of saving them. In the new tab use the ⋮ menu → Download (Android, Chrome on PC) or Share → Save to Files (iPhone).
Can I download private or group videos?
No. Only videos anyone can watch without logging in can be saved. This protects people’s privacy.
Do you keep a copy of the video or my link?
No. The file goes from Facebook’s servers to your device. We don’t store videos or keep a list of links.
