Save a video Pin from Pinterest to your phone or computer as an MP4 file. Paste the Pin link, tap Download, and you get the HD video, usually 720p, without logging in to Pinterest. It is handy for recipes, DIY tutorials, workouts and outfit ideas you want to watch offline.
How to download a Pinterest video
- Open the video Pin in the Pinterest app or website, tap the Share icon and choose Copy link. On a computer you can copy the address bar.
- Paste the link in the box above, or press Ctrl+V anywhere on this page.
- Tap Download next to HD video. There is also a smaller 360p file when Pinterest has one, which is useful for WhatsApp.

Why the video sometimes opens in a new tab
Pinterest does not let other websites save its videos directly, so on some browsers the video opens in a new tab instead of downloading. Save it from there: on Android or Chrome on a computer use the ⋮ menu → Download; on iPhone tap Share → Save to Files.
