Save a public Snapchat Spotlight video as an MP4 file. Paste the Spotlight link, tap Download and the video is saved to your phone or computer. You do not need a Snapchat account, and nothing is installed.
How to download a Snapchat Spotlight video
- In Snapchat, open the Spotlight video, tap Share and choose Copy link. On the web, copy the address of the Spotlight page.
- Paste the link in the box above, or press Ctrl+V anywhere on this page.
- Tap Download next to HD video. The MP4 goes to your Downloads folder.
Which Snapchat links work

Frequently asked questions
Is the Snapchat video downloader free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no daily limit.
Does the creator get notified if I download their Spotlight?
No. Saving a public Spotlight from the web does not send a notification. Taking a screenshot inside the app is different and can notify people.
Why does it say no public video was found?
The link may be to a private Snap or a Story that has expired. Open the link in a browser where you are not logged in; if you cannot see the video there, it cannot be downloaded.
Where is the video saved?
In your browser’s Downloads folder. On iPhone open the Files app → Downloads; on Android open Files or Gallery → Download.
Do you keep a copy?
No. We do not store videos or the links you paste.
